Frequently asked questions
Everything about getting your model printed — files, sizing, materials, price, and shipping.
Files & sizing
What file format do you accept?
Right now we accept .stl files only — the standard mesh format every CAD and modeling tool can export. More formats may come later as we grow.
How big can my model be?
It has to fit the printer's build volume of 220 × 220 × 250 mm. We can rotate the model to make it fit, so a part up to 250 mm on its longest edge can work if it lies the right way. Anything larger needs to be scaled down or split into pieces.
How do I know it will fit before I pay?
When you upload, you'll see your model's measured size and whether it fits the build volume. That's a preliminary check; the exact, final check happens when we slice the file, which is also when your price is confirmed.
Materials
Which materials can I choose?
Three, today: PLA for crisp detail and display pieces, PETG for tougher functional parts with some heat and moisture resistance, and TPU for flexible, rubber-like parts. Pick by how the part will be used.
Will you add more materials?
Yes — more materials are on the roadmap as we add machines, alongside larger build volumes. For now everything prints in PLA, PETG, or TPU on a single printer.
Which material should I pick?
If it's a model, figure, or something decorative, PLA. If it needs to take stress, heat, or the outdoors, PETG. If it needs to bend or grip — gaskets, straps, phone cases — TPU. There's a short rundown on the materials section of the home page.
Pricing & payment
How is the price calculated?
It's a fixed price based on the material and amount of filament your model uses plus the estimated print time. You'll see the full price before you commit to anything.
How do I pay?
By card, securely through Stripe at checkout. Your card details are entered in Stripe's secure field and never touch Agora's servers.
Can I get a refund?
Prints are custom and made to order, so once a job reaches the front of the queue and printing begins, it can't be refunded. If something goes wrong on our end with the print, reach out and we'll make it right.
Turnaround & shipping
How long will my print take?
It depends on your spot in the queue plus the print time for your model. Everything runs on a single printer, one job at a time, so your receipt shows your queue position and the estimated print time up front.
How will I know when it's done?
We message you at each step — when your print starts, when it finishes, and when it ships. You can also check progress any time with your order ID on the tracking page.
Do I get tracking when it ships?
Yes. Once your order is packed and handed to the carrier, you'll get a tracking number, and it appears on your order's status page too.
Contact & updates
How do you contact me about my order?
By email, which is required at checkout. You can optionally add a phone number to also get text updates. We use these only to keep you posted on your print.
I lost my order ID — what do I do?
Your order ID is in the confirmation we email after payment. Check that message; it looks like AGORA-7F3K2Q. With it, you can track your order any time.
